Coast Guard sets Port Condition Seasonal Alert in Philadelphia, South Jersey, Delaware

PHILADELPHIA — The Coast Guard returned the Sector Delaware Bay Captain ofthe Port (COTP) Zone to Port Condition Seasonal Alert and the ports are open to all vessel traffic, Monday morning.

All mariners are advised to exercise caution when transiting restricted waters due to possible shoaling and navigational aids possibly being off station or unreliable.

Vessel or facility operators should notify Sector Delaware Bay of any issues that may prevent or limit hurricane preparedness and identify items of potential concern that cannot be mitigated within 72 hours.
