Update 2: Coast Guard, partner agencies continue searching for missing boater near Fire Island Inlet with photo***

NEW YORK - Coast Guard and local partner agency crews continue to search for a person in the water after responding to an overturned vessel near Fire Island Inlet, New York, Tuesday.

Missing is a 52-year-old man, last seen wearing a green shirt and jeans.

Coast Guard and partner agencies have searched a total of 35 hours since the initial report, covering 688 square nautical miles. 

Assets involved with the search include:

•    An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Air Station Cape Cod•    An HC-144 Ocean Sentry crew from Air Station Cape Cod•    Coast Guard Station Fire Island smallboat crews•    Coast Guard Station Jones Beach smallboat crews•    Coast Guard Cutter Sitkinak•    Coast Guard Auxiliary boatcrews•    New York Police Department Aviation•    New York Police Department Dive•    Suffolk County Marine and Air Units•    Suffolk County Police Department
