Coast Guard participates in honor flight return celebrations at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

Coast Guard active duty, Auxiliary and Navy personnel participate in the welcome home celebrations of the 13th Puget Sound Honor Flight trip at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Sept. 26, 2016.

Puget Sound Honor Flight serves as a local estern Washington hub for the Honor Flight Network, transporting veterans to visit memorials of the respective wars they fought in, at no cost.

Bill Logsdon, U.S. Air Force veteran, is escorted through members of the U.S. Armed Forces outside a terminal gate at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Sept. 26, 2016.

Logsdon was one of 112 travelers, made up of veterans, volunteers and Puget Sound Honor Flight members who took part in the organization’s 13th trip to see the memorials in Washington D.C.
